Parenting Coordination
A Parenting Coordinator helps you apply and implement your parenting plan. A Parenting Coordinator is the ultimate interpretor of the clauses set out in your parenting plan, court order, or separation agreement. When there is a dispute over how a particular section is to be interpreted, a Parenting Coordinator can help clarify and mediate an agreement on what is intended and what is in the best interests for your child(ren).
Furthermore, a Parenting Coordinator can serve as a mediator or arbitrator if a situation arises that is not covered by the parenting plan or court documents, or if the parents both agree to a variation in these documents. In the case that the parents cannot agree on an interpretation, the Parenting Coordinator has arbitrative powers.
