Reintegration Therapy

There are many ways a child can become estranged or separated from a parent, but it is proven that children do best when they have a relationship with both parents.

Reunification Therapy is a counselling process which assists a parent who has been estranged from their child(ren). This counselling process aims to assist both parents and the child(ren) with understanding how and why parental contact has been limited. The goal of this intervention is to increase parental contact commensurate with what is in the best interests of the child. Where there are safety concerns regarding why contact has been limited, this will be addressed as part of the reunification.
